Maybe is doesn't mean much to some of the tools in here but I'm going to love it! Pure fireworks!!!:happy :happy Margarito vs Williams Cintron vs Matthysse Gatti vs Gomez
I couldn't give two shits about the Gatti fight, but I'm happy to watch the second one, and the "main event" is one of the fights I've been most anxious to see all year. I still haven't made my prediction in my own head.
Every fight has potential to be a barnburner - and there are 3 of them. Should be a great night of boxing indeed.
It's so good, that you have to wonder why in the world Roy Jones is fighting on PPV the same night. Is anyone going to buy that?
I can't wait! I wonder how they're gonna do the broadcasts.. the Gatti and Gomez fights are in Atlantic City and the Margarito-Williams fight is in LA. I'm guessing they'll put the BAD crew in NJ and the Lampley/Steward crew in LA. Hopefully Larry Merchant will be with Lampley and not Lennox/Papa, where Kellerman belongs. Oh yeah, and they're playing the Hopkins-Wright countdown right after!
Roy jones is on pay per view because no station will give him the big bucks he wants so as everyone gets greedier--they all go to PPV to earn a few more dollars. Personally, myself, I think its killing the sport. JMHO.
Jones is about to take a brutal beating. If not in the ring it will be on the buy rates!HBO is undisputed champ on Saturday.:thumbsup
Yeah, it makes no sense why Jones chose this weekend, no way he's gonna sell many buys against that HBO card. He'll be lucky to pull 50k buys.
Goosen said it all. This is a can't miss fight, with a can't miss undercard. Solid all around and probably the best fight card of the year so far. Props to HBO for getting their **** together on this one.
Margarito/WIlliams will be an ugly fight. But I believe that Margarito will win. But I expect a highlight type of KO for Kermit Cintron. And Gomez to upset Gatti.
The only thing we don't agree on is the Margarito-Williams fight. I see that one as a highlight KO for Margarito sometime around the midway mark. 4-5 maybe 6 rounds. Rest we see it the same.
