totally agreed. when your biggest win is shannon briggs, i don't expect much from you. i wasn't dissapointed.

And Chagaev would be the worst heavyweight champ since the ****ing 20s. He's always injured, with a boring, sarah plain and tall style.

I agree Wlad should step it up and send this ****er to the hospital for the 80th time this year, except it will be with a concussion this time and not herpes

The fight was as uneventful as it was, mainly cause Wlad was wearing of Ibragimov's fast counter punching.

EVen though we are Wlad fans, we gotta still be realistic about it. :good

But it was not as bad as some say. Wlad did knock him down, and win a lopsided decision.

So a dominant win against a world class, undefeated titleholder should not to be treated and belittled as this win was. He beat Ibragimov soundly, and he had never been beaten before...........Yet just cause Wlad didn't KO him, he's tarred and feathered in the boxing press.

That is nuts. :-(

There were no less than THIRTY or so instances of Ibrigamov's head coming forward, unguarded, right in front of Wvlads cocked right hand. What happened each and every time? Wvlad stepped backwards and reset so as to throw more jabs and/or beat down on the fist of Sultan. But you don't blame Wvlad?

Perhaps the weakest performance in the history of boxing besides Jones vs. Tarver 2.

I would also like to correct you, Wlad never knocked down Iggy in that fight. I know the time your talking about, where the ropes kinda held him up. Though it was never ruled a knocked by the ref.

I would love to see Wlad get knocked out again, though I doubt it will happen on the 20th. Chagaev is not that good anymore and has looked bad in his last couple fights.

 

honest question for Wlad fans and haters alike: Would you prefer THIS Wlad to win or the Wlad for the Mercer fight?

 

I liked the 02 version of Wlad better, he was extremely offensive minded. He pretty much went in there and destroyed his oppenents with the jab and straight right, the 1, 2 if you will. He was much more exciting to watch then, though he's more effective and boring now, since Steward worked with to guard his achilles heel, which is his glass chin.

 

Any day is a good day for Wlad to get KTFO.
