Originally Buffer announced Cuadras the winner by 114-113 on all cards. Buffer had too much to drink perhaps and then the winner rectified and given to Estrada. STILL this is a travesty!!! I heard this is in line with the HBO broadcast which I didn't watch. I only gave Cuadras 3 rounds and on top of that he got dropped hard and schooled for majority of the rounds. I do question the judging ability of those judges, HBO panels and some of you. The essence of sweet science is lost here.
0.0. it was a close fight lol could of gone either way. but glad Estrada won I don't like cuadras much lol.
Huh? Cuadras lit Estrada up all night until he started to fade in the second half and got caught. You can't take away points from Cuadras for being sort of featherfisted.
Nope.. I don't know what HBO are talking about. Estrada landed the cleaner punches all 12 rounds. Yes! Arguably all 12 rounds.
0.0 1 of the first 5... that's impossible lmao... but okay. I don't like cudras but even I had him ahead 4-1 or 3-2 after 5 lol.
The scores were actually perfect. A legit argument could have been made for either man. It really came to the last round and I thought Estrada won it ever so slightly.
No man. Look at the boo in the arena, and those are people who can't watch clearly like you and I on TV. That boo was bigger than Pac-Bradley and ward-kovalev 1 combine. HBO telecast sways opinion.
I gave Cuadras 5 rounds, but had Estrada winning. Cuadras was bigger, more active, and threw big eye-catching punches. That's all most people see. It's a lot easier to see sloppy hay makers than a slight block or deflection off a glove or elbow. I think a lot of people will also score more heavily for the bigger fighter, assuming that his punches do more damage and are worth more than crisp short shots. The biggest problem with most people's judging lately appears to be a lack of basic understanding for how punches are blocked or deflected. They don't look closely. They only see who is throwing a lot. Also, Estrada's face seemed to mark up more than Cuadras' did, so some people score based on physical appearances such as blood and bruises.
