That first show was very entertaining. A lot of fun fights to watch. To be honest... this season looks like it is going to be a great one.

the show has had its time, how many time can a man flog a dead horse.

take the money for show and make fights cards out of it.

People know MMA now, this bull**** is getting old. Show the fights. people going at it,

You act like they have the same fighters on the show every season or something. What you are saying is that the 24/7 boxing show is beating a dead horse too. Hell, they even show the same fighters multiple times on 24/7. People LOVE to watch the human side of athletes, ect... It really builds hype and brings in a ton of fans. There is a reason why the show still gets amazing ratings.

I have followed the UFC and have only missed a small handful of PPV's ever since UFC 2. So, I actually think that all of the "TUF NOOB" bull**** is nonsense. I like the show and have watched just about every season outside of the Brit vs USA season that I thought was pointless... although many others watched it. You wouldn't make a very good businessman. The TUF show not only brings tons of ratings and money in through advertisements... but it also keeps raising the UFC's already huge fanbase, as well as creates instant recognizable names off of the guys who fight on the show.

I like the show, and I think that it's a great idea.

    agreed, those fights were sick

and it looks like tito and chuck get into some proper beef in the show which should be entertaining

These guys looks nasty and there seems to be some real talent in there, I'm definitely not going to miss the big guys gassing 2 minutes into the first round like the piece of **** last season. Looks like it should be a good season for sure.

agreed. These guys look alot better than last season and it was only the first episode. The last fight where the one guy broke his friend's nose was sick. I hope Chuck takes Titos head off. lol

 @ the french guy. Then Chuck to Tito "Him quitting is a lot like tapping out to punches."

This season looks to have a step up in talent compared to some of the previous seasons.

My only complaint about the show last night is the decision to just do highlights of the McGee-O'Donnell fight. That was a ****ing firekracker of a bout. Wanted to see the whole 15 minutes of it.

Absolutely. It's basically a few month long advertisement on the up and coming talent. So once those deserving fighters are actually in the UFC people will know who they are. They'll want to see them fight, thus buying the card.
Imagine if they recruited talented people like Florian, Koscheck, Sanchez, instead of building a foundation story behind them? The cards that they were on would never be bought.
Look at Frank Edgar, a lot of people that I've talked to MIGHT have heard of the guy and he's fighting BJ Penn. Compare him to Florian. They're not too far from each other in talent but Florian is much more popular thanks to TUF. BJ Penn Florian would put a LOT more asses in the seats and definitely more PPV buys.

I don't know how i can explain this better.

Personally I like the house drama and altercations that almost lead to fights. Or two guys who build up there fight by hating each other in the house and talkin ****. Makes for a more interesting match up in the octagon

The fights where good and thats all I wanna see. Entertaining fights, good coaching and guys working hard for their dreams. Alittle play here and there is ok but to many douchebags almost always make this show look pathetic which in turn makes MMA almost look like a complete joke.

The pranks have gotten way to staged looking so I don't care for them. I do like to see morons like Titties made fun of, cause he's an idiot, and guys being picked on in the house until they snap and fight back. That's great TV. Seeing that *** on the season with Rampage and Forrest giving another fighter at the house a free punch in the face was awesome. Especially when it KO'd him. Junie browning was entertaining to watch at time. No surprise his career is over now though

who cares about there personal life, Make battles, War, catch my drift. Look this show is ****ing boring now. how about make 12 shows out of the money that spike gives for this stupid show, This show is more for Dana White so he can get his idiot head on TV. the best way to promote a fighter is seeing him fight. not ***** fighting and pretending to be friends with people they don't know from a bar of soap.

That is completely untrue. Horrible business sense, honestly. I am not trying to attack you or anything... but this is the kind of mentality that contributes to boxing being in the shitter here in the United States. No advertisement and hype put behind the young, up and coming fighters. TUF gets the up and coming fighters all sorts of air time... a huge fan base... and a huge stage to perform on. This produces a constant influx of already well known, well liked, and even very hated fighters brought into the UFC with a large fanbase already well aware of who they are, following their careers and buying their fights.

Who cares about their personal life? Obviously the millions of viewers that watch TUF every episode. You know... the guys that follow the UFC, buy the merchandise, buy the PPV's, ect... Basically the fans that the UFC wants and needs.
