    Let's be real here.

He looked awful against jorneyman who was stopped by Berto and Maidana in mid rounds.

Spence and Crawford would destroy this version of Thurman. Old Pac beats him easily. Porter will win the rematch without a doubt. Thurman better consider retirement from boxing after that less than impressive performance.

He didn't look amazing but Lopez is pretty tough, Thurman hasn't fought in 2 years and his last couple of fights he fought more defensively.
I'm not convinced his heart's in it or it could be that he's still not over his injury. He's on the precipice.

I agree he loses to the elite guys now but a degree of caution is needed. Look at Fury. When he came back against Seferi and Pianeta hordes of idiots on here wrote him off. Ring rust is not some myth. Two years out especially with injuries in need of rehabilitation is going to take time to get back to speed. Give him one more tune up against a B grade opponent and we’ll be in a better place to judge him.

Lopez is tough and Thurman is bound to have a deep layer of ring rust. He said hes not going to back up to speed without 2 or 3 fights under his belt. Personally ive never been big on Thurman and i dont see him beating Spence or Crawford no matter what shape he is in but im not sure we should be comparing him all completely based on what he did last night.

I dont think so. Plus I saw thurman wiht better snap than what I remembered him to have.

Though, thurman vs thurman would be one of the most boring fights in the history of boxing. And that's a lot comming from a rigo fan, dudes.

There was a lot of worrying signs last night, Lopez was able to stalk him down and cut off the ring without even using a jab or cutting off the ring properly and it took Lopez about 6 rounds to find his range then he couldn’t miss Thurman after that, it won’t take pac Crawford or spence 6 rounds to find to find there range.

You can do that to an inactive thurman not an active one . This isn't broner. Thurman will let his hands go . I'm not saying thurnan will do it easy. But no way in hell is thurman gonna let pac win

Spence demolishes him he better try to get that Pacquaio payday and retire. Then say “my heart isn’t it, I’m ready to start a family” Thurman looked old.

But there’s also a big chance active or not he won’t ever get back to what he was. Thurman can let his hands go but so will pac and pac would of destroyed Lopez last night.

Plus if this fight is next then it’s still not an active Thurman is it.

Its not an active Thurman true but I think it's a good enough thurman to get the win

It’s a close fight I don’t disagree but last night like I said there was of worrying signs but then again on the night Pac-Man could end up being completely washed up seeing as he’s 40 and already declined.

A big part of it could be what the judges will prefer pac’s aggression or thrumans boxing but if Thurman run’s to much that really could sway the judges in manny’s direction.
