This turned out to be a very bad crop of heavyweight prospects.

Yoka is facing Duhaupas next month and if he beats him, he'll have quite a decent resume after 8 fights only.

    Allen
    Dimitrenko
    Wallisch
    Duhaupas

Perhaps I was too harsh when it come to my words. That for which I am sorry.

However I still believe your assessment of the current crop is a bit unfair. They are still developing.

He's talented and he some nice attributes and an impressive amateur pedigree (albeit it would be less so if not for the gifts he received from the judges) but he does strike me as being the chinny type.

Agree with this. The division is actually quite exciting but the skill level, with a few exceptions, is really thin. Guys like Povetkin, Charr, Pulev and Chisora ought to be in old age homes and not contesting the cream of the new crop and being competitive.

Most of them have barely got to the fringes yet and are still learning on the job. Cant write them all off already.

Fury was getting boxing lessons of Big John McDermott at a later age than Dubois is and look how he turned out ffs.

I kind of agree to be honest, I don't really see any standouts or someone you could point to who's going to rise to the top. I was pretty high on Dubois myself but, to me he looked pretty ordinary last night and fights like that will do him zero favours.

I'm actually starting to like the look of Fabio Wardley as he seems to have a little something different about him, has plenty of time to improve at 25, is obviously very naturally talented and is very marketable.

Peter Kadiru is another one to watch.

Maybe Darmani Rock is he can get his weight under control.

On what basis do you rate Fury as the greatest heavyweight of all time?He has two decent wins on his record ,one against a faded Klitschko and another verses the over hyped Wilder.Hardly comparable to the greats of the past

I think the crop of new HWs is good but are held back by poor management and promotion.

Dubois is a good example. After a good win against Gorman he has fought 3 complete tomato cans and isn't learning or improving and is getting to the point of stagnation which is Frankly (yes you Mr Warren) ridiculous.
