Nah I don’t think that honesty. I was just curious to see if you were being sarcastic it’s sometimes hard to detect sarcasm in the written for me, especially texting. For me anyway. Your opinion is just as valuable as mine. I just happen to disagree. I know that a lot of people think he might be overrated and I can see that a bit. But I honestly have never seen anyone say he just wasn’t any good. We can agree to disagree on that. As for cruiser being a made up division I take it you are someone that believes more in the old 8 division system. There are quite a few I’m sure. I hate more divisions clouding things up but I like cruiser. In my opinion the gap between light heavy to heavy was way too big.

Back to you thinking he was never any good. Out of curiosity let’s say he wins the rematch and goes on to beat fury what would your opinion be of him then? Personally I think he can win but it would be a lot tougher than tonight’s fight.

Everything you listed is evidence pointing to how good a fighter is. How braindead far into your delusion are you?

Are you even being serious right now? Environments mean you're good? WTF? Being good makes you good. There's no environment clause, homey.

Fury is also very bad and almost got starched by Wilder who everyone agreed was terrible. If Wilder is as terrible as they say, almost getting starched by him and going the distance with a huge size advantage does not speak well of your best fighting. Fury was definitely not good. Everyone but his diehard fans agreed that Wlad was only champion because he came along at the right time. And Fury edged Wlad out on most rounds and couldn't even put his very old azz away like Joshua did. It's really sad, man. And that was the two guys that makes Fury anybody at all. Wilder and Wlad. If Usyk beats Fury, it doesn't really mean anything to me. I mean, Holyfield beat Qawi and Bowe. Those guys were p4p talents when boxing was great. I mean, those dudes was on another level and they were still getting real wins. A guy like Holy woulda KO'd Joshua straight up. And even those guys were bad. Earnie Shavers said it himself that he probably beat like ten Holyfields in his career. It's all like a copy of a copy of a copy of something that used to be strong like that movie Multiplicity. Eventually, you just looking at a dude that's like SRL but the version that walk around in goofy clothes pretending to snow ski when there's not snow and he in the house.

It’s been proven that if you have superior skills and can move up in weight an retain all of your positive attributes, you’ve got the advantage.

Pacquiao, Canelo, Usyk in recent years.

It’s gonna be very difficult to outbox Usyk at Heavyweight, they just haven’t got the speed in their hands and feet to compete.

Disciplined pressure and size would be the only way it seems

Ok if I read that correctly you don’t think Bowe or Holyfield were any good either. Who are boxers you do like? I wanna get a feel for what kind of styles / accomplishments you prefer.

As for Your Fury comments I get some of what you’re saying. For me, like Usyk, I love how he moves in the ring. Both to me move exceptionally well for big guys.

I like Usyk for his accomplishments at cruiser and his systematic beating of Joshua. My opinion.

He has great skills, goes into peoples back yard and takes their titles, and can keep a high pace for all 12 rounds to name a few things.

What would he have to do to change your opinion of him?

I enjoyed Fury Wilder 2 more, but there was a lot more skill on display by both boxers last night.

I think the guy was making the point that Usyk has consistently shown that all his attributes and how he applies them - REGARDLESS of the environment - consistently elevate him to the top - creme de la creme.

Or put another way, many of the folks who were - as a minority - predficting Usyk was a bad match up for AJ and would win, were doing it by extrapolating on how Usyk simply doesn't know how to lose; it's not in his makeup.

Whilst I agree to an extent that it's not always a good idea to infer how good someone is as a pro from the amateurs, with Usyk you can see that he has followed a trajectory, and any astute observers of his journey would not be at all shocked or surprised by either his win or his performance; because he has been doing it consistently regardless of the environment for 15 years

After unifying Crusier, Usyk did not need to go up to heavyweight, and most folks saw it as a retirement payday.

Usyk is all about legacy and being great, and that in itself makes him great to me.
