Joshua looked tentative and chinny, a bit listless at times. He doesn't fight like a champion who has supreme confidence.

I saw a bit of Pacquiao vs Oscar in the way the styles played out, how Usyk was moving around AJ and leading with the straight left, and how AJ was looking tentative, a bit scared to engage, not sure how to deal with the speed.

AJ had 1 or 2 rounds where he really went at it.

I think ATG performance is an exaggeration but I would rank it high still.

 

Good to see wasn’t it, that kind of talent. I half think he lulled Joshua on purpose with really lacklustre performances prior, just a totally different fighter, not even a style thing imo

 

That was sublime boxing from Usyk

I was surprised how effective he can be at this mid range, better head movement than I expected, didn't run just managed to avoid Joshua's shots.

I was totally expecting he would backpedal the whole fight like he did against Chisora...

 

In HW boxing it definitely was.

 

I felt like I was watching something very special.

Usyk cemented himself as the best boxer of this generation.

 

Best display of heavyweight boxing skills since Holyfield kept Bowe turning all night with angles in Bowe-Holyfield II?? Was last night even better than that? Is there a more recent fight I’m forgetting?
