So your problem isn't with fighters missing weight(in Gatti's case missing weight, and having the commission cover it up), it's with their pre-fight diet? That's the isssue here?

No the court proved that whatever happened it was the NYSAC's fault. Gatti jumped on the scale the NYSAC said he was good and he jumped off.

Unlike Broner who was.................. 3 and a half pounds over 130 after making Escobedo drain himself down from Lightweight.:patsch

Whether Gatti made weight or didn't or what Gatti actually weighed for the weigh in we will never know blame that on my states AC.

Both of our sources we just posted said he weighed over 141..

    Lawsuit

--The videotape shows that once Arturo Gatti stepped on the scale, the needle rose to the top of the beam indicating that he was heavier than the 141 pounds the scale had been set to. With Southard looking on and mere inches from the scale, Russo was seen touching the scale, moving the counter-weight to a heavier position past the pre-set weight of 141 pounds. When what did not settle the needle, Gatti was told to raise his arms, which caused the needle to bounce up and down. It was at that point, while the needle was still in motion, that his weight was called as 141 pounds. Gatti stepped off the scale, immediately began drinking fluids and quickly left the weigh-in room.--

The contracted weight was 140. There was just an allowance for 1 lb. Furthermore, the scale was not centered at 141 which means Gatti was even over the allowance. In the Mayweather/Marquez fight, the contracted weight was 144. However, because it was a WW fight, they could weigh up to 147 lbs. according to the commission. Furthermore, there was a provision that allowed them to go over 144. Because this provision existed, does this mean that Mayweather didn't make weight? Of course not.

Here is some gray for you smart guy. Broner tweeted pictures of sweets. He says that he tweeted them in response to questions about what he likes to eat. How does him tweeting an unwrapped Twinkie for example prove that he was actually eating that stuff in excess during his training? It doesn't.

So by your logic, had the commission slid the scale down to 130 and told Broner that he was good even though the scale wasn't centered, then he would have done nothing wrong. Both guys failed to make the weight limit. Once guy was fortunate enough that the commission cheated for him to make it look like he was good.

If the contract weight was 140 but they were allowed to be 1 pound over then guess what??? The maxium weight he could've weighed was 141.:patsch

Or something wrong..... Because when it comes to fighting good opponents he certainly isn't doing anything right.

No one is disputing that. None the less, if the contract weight is 140 and you weigh more than 140, you are over the contract weight. I'm sure even you can grasp that. Furthermore, Gatti didn't even make 141 so it's a moot point anyway. Lastly, it's pointless talking about Gatti anyway, that was a different fight. Back to this fight. Once again, what would you like to sse be done? What would hapeen that would satisfy you here? Do you want Broner suspeneded, do you want him to apologize, do you want everyone to come out and trash him? What are you looking for?

What does Floyd have to do with anything? Nobody is defending Broner in this thread. If you've noticed Big Reg has been trolling besides pointing out the Gatti thing, as have I. Don't get mad because you thought you knew what you were talking about on the Gatti situation and got proved wrong.

I'm sure he went all the way to the store and bought them just to take pics of them instead of just saying "I like Twix and Twinkes". And I find it funny that he was asked that question before the fight and said nothing all he said was "those things have nothing to do with growing out of a weight class" but when he was asked after the fight he came up with that BS surely someone from HBO or GSP/Haymon came up with that.

And what about that nasty 7/11 hotdog? He got that with the works on it and took a pic of it and threw it out? Keep blowing the guy I'm sure in a few years when he gets outted you might have a shot to do it for real. Good luck.
