These boards are drowning in HW talk, which is not necessarily a bad thing. We habe some top operators in action this weekend. How much clarity do these bouts have for the hierarchy of the division? Interested to see if we will get the Krusher of old. Also, Chilemba can be a tough egg to crack, will Bivol be able to get him out of there in spectacular fashion like we are used to seeing from him?
Naw, Kov knows he was robbed in the first fight. That doesn't hurt confidence. He also believes he was wronged due to low blows (whether YOU believe it or not is a moot point) in the second fight. He is 1-1 with a hall of fame fighter, doubt his soul is taken. Ward is not Shang Tsung.
He never complained once about low blows during the fight. Kovalev just can't take it to the body. First fight was close but Ward took over after the KD and did enough get the win 2-0 Andre Ward
Ok, I see you have an agenda. Ward has nothing to do with current LHW division as he is retired. This thread is about the HBO card this weekend, and the current hierarchy at LHW.
My ranking, based on H2H against each other if they fought tonight. 1. Kov 2. Bivol 3. Adonis 4. Beterbiev 5. Gvozdyk

Come to think after Ward Alvarez is the best opponent Kov has faced in his career. So this would be his BEST win to date, also Bivol should take out Chilemba no prob. He's fought Valera who's just as awkward.
is Alvarez really any better or stylistically that much different from Chilemba? He eeked out a win against him and from what i remember he's primarily a jabber and 'boxer' no?
