Juan Diaz v Paulie Malignaggi The Baby Bull should win this on points. Paulie won't handle the pressure and if the Marquez loss hasn't ruled Diaz then he shouldn't have any problems. Malcolm Klassen v Roberto Guerrero Klassen is a live underdog in this one, Guerrero will have to be at his best to win. Daniel Jacobs v Ishe Smith Decent step up in class for Jacobs, I'm expecting him to win this on points. And before anyone asks, it's not on British telly :-(
Yeah gutted to ishy...i like these fights they look good matchups. The genreal forum wouldn't agree . I'm interested in the Jacobs-Smith fight i like to see how he handles Ishe. I hope Juan beats Paulie i think he still has a lot more to give to sport and i prefer him as a fighter. Although i do like Paulie i feel Juan will outwork and out hustle him to victory. Klassen-Guerrero is another decent match up...question marks over Guerrero's heart and i like to see what this Klassen has to offer.
I've only seen Klassen's last fight against Baloyi (I think it was Baloyi) and he looked good. He was the shorter man and really pressured Baloyi and didn't let him use his height and reach advantage. I agree about Guerrero's heart Mandanda, it was a proper quit job against that Indonesian fella. I have no idea why some people on the General think it's a rubbish card.
Yep I remember before his fight on the Froch-Taylor undercard he said he was only fighting for money now.
Who is Paulies trainer now? I think its a cracking card the Klassen fight looks the best of the night im going with him. Good to see Jacobs step up but seems a stupid fight for smith to take.
Very possibly. He's a brave fighter, but if he's just in for the money and he's been on the wrong end of a beating for 10 rounds he might just think "WTF?".
I don't- unless you're on about a corner retirement:think. He'll be soundly beaten but I don't expect him to be stopped in the ring.
Don't think Diaz has the power to make him quit. I have a feeling Paulie might pull this off but all his comments sound as if he has given up on boxing lately.
