Yep...I got my Dec 16th last week and about 2 others on the days after....Royal Mail....this is the first time in ages I have got it on the day it was supposed to arrive. Just waiting for my McDonnell tickets now... The pic is great but homo...prefer the mad punch shot of the week pics myself.
I agree in some parts but I do enjoy reading the features on boxers and in depth interviews but alot of the other stuff is covered everywhere else.
Dave, any truth in the rumour that Rees-Watson II is in mid-Feb? Bit short notice surely? Cheers pal.
They do need to get the subscription issue sorted because its going to get more and more expensive for them to have in shops and eventually they are going to have to go to an entirely subscription based service within the next 5-10 years imo. It has probably helped with it being released on thursdays but obviously its still not enough
It's on Sky's website so must be true. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12947,00.html ----- My copy of BN hasn't arrived as well :fire
Feb 12th mate. I was working with Matchroom on this over the last couple weeks so it's not a case of only having the four weeks to prepare. However, the way things are at the moment you have to take opportunities to fight when you can, champion or challenger. The way TV is now, you can't pick and choose like you could before.
Thanks :good Is this the fight you wanted for Watto straight up or would you have rathered taken another fight before fighting Rees again?
To be honest, John has been begging me for an immediate rematch from the moment we left the dressing room at the end of the night. Feels that he blew it due to the opening four rounds. It was all new to him that night, mentally he's better prepared for it second time around. If it was a fight i thought John couldn't have won on the night i would have wanted more time/fights for him. But, forget the first four rounds, there was a major part of the game plan that he didn't put into practice for the majority of the fight and if he does this time around we're both convinced he wins. Rees is class, but John on a bad night proved he belongs in the same class - championship class.
