These catchweight complain bullshits of haters all boil down to how pac is demolishing fighters in higher weight divisions..

Pac is making it look so easy and one sided that they cannot believe how pac manage to achieve such a feat and their tendency is to think that it was not pac's ability what makes the outcome of the fight but the opponent is probably sick, not on his 100% state mentally and physically or weight drained..

Or simply that they hate pac's guts because he cannot lose to all their favorite fighters..

that is how i see it..

Obviously a thread starter NOT talking from experience.

Fighting whilst emaciated is akin to going for a sprint whilst suffering from a fever.

when a match is made, both fighters agree to what weight it is... by that alone they should already know if they can make that weight or not.

another is pac never begged them to comedown so they can have a fight at a catchweight. they wanted to fight pac even at a catchweight so this should be another reason that no excuses should be made whatever the outcome.

il agree with you, to some extent... its pure hating.

This is why you should keep opinions to yourself. I've detested catchweights WAY before Pacquiao decided to emabrk upon the bull****.

Well if both respective fighters agree to a certain weight, you cannot complain. I dont like catchweights but if it is a mutual agreement no sense in arguing the result

How are you defining a fighters 'natural weigh-in weight'?

What do you believe the 'natural weigh-in weight is for, say, Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley or Antonio Margarito? If your answer for all three is '147lbs', that's a bit of a coincidence don't you think? Why not 145lbs? Or 149lbs?

Only a ******* would miss the obvious signs. Hell, even Roach admitted it:patsch

That still was a good win for Pac but proper perspective is a must for objectivity's sake!

DLH didnt have a shot once he signed the papers. the fight could've been at 154 and DLH gets KO 2 rounds later. all this drain **** is an excuse, DLH was never on Pacquiaos level. Hatton was never on his level. and Cotto is clearly not on Pacquiaos level, so when Cotto gets his ass whooped then come out with "Cotto was weight dranied at 144" but reality is hes not a better boxer then Pacquiao PERIOD!!!

Today weight drained is a myth. Today they weigh in 36 hours before the fight. DHL was under weight and OLD.

Archi Moore use to fight at heavy, then @195 which then was a good weight at heavy...way back when...then he'd get down to 175 at 12 the official weigh in the day of the fight.

Back when it was no myth was liek in the Days of Kid McCoy, when they weighed in at the ring.

there are so few stars in boxing that the bigger men want to fight pac. because they are bigger they have to come in light, as a compromise. it surely does affect/diminish their performance. if they want to take that risk, that's up to them, that's the risk they take calling out a significantly smaller man.

i mean, if cotto is going to near kill himself to make 144 or even 143, why is cotto not going up the weights & gunning for williams, pavlik, abraham, bute, froch, etc etc

Its 147, the limit of their weight division which they fight in, which is welterweight. Or should we just make a new division and call it "anyone who wants to fight pacqiou has to fight in the pacman division'. This catch weight **** is really hurting his credability
