Pacquiao is not that malnourished 15 year old skinny version of the third world dickhead. He is a grown 30 year old man fighting at the Welterweight limits, that **** excuse doesn't work.:smoke

But now you're talking bollocks. First you were on about 'natural weight' and now you're talking about the welterweight limit of 147lbs, which is an arbitrary number that just happens to define one of the current weight divisions. 147 lbs is not Cotto's natural weight, it's a weight that he happens to choose to sign for fights at a weigh-in limit of. If he decides he instead wants to sign for a fight where he agrees a weigh-in limit of, say, 145lbs, that is not on the face of it anymore or less credible than if he were to choose to sign for a fight with a weight limit of 147lbs, or 149lbs, or 151lbs.

There's still plenty of problems with rehydrating, and if you're operating on less than full strength a day before the fight, you can't reasonably expect someone to be at full strength the next day. Also, the brain and the inner ear don't rehydrate so quickly, so overtraining can cause some equilibrium issues.
