this whole fight card was a letdown.

I thought the Cano fight was entertaining. The Ishe Smith fight was the only dud of the night for me.

 

ishe vs molina was so bad everyone should be credited back $20 to their cable bill

 

Everybody at my fight party was just waiting for that fight to end. We just considered it a 12 round intermission.

 

I enjoyed the main event, I mean when you buy a mayweather ppv what exactly do you expect? A 12 round slugfest? No i guess you wanna see him get ko'd and when he doesn't you complain of a boring fight, to me the performance last night was brilliant and a joy to watch, only guys who wanted canelo to win would have found it dull

 

Lol, that was the time we took to use the bathroom, set up the Shisha's, etc...

 

Cano a good fight. I agree Garcia and Matthysse a great fight. That's the thing with Floyd when he turns it on its the most one sided event you can see

 

It was a good night of boxing, actually. Except for the God Awful Ishe Smith fight. His next fight needs to be on Jupiter off TV.

 

Card busted for me though the 2nd half of the Cano fight was good and Garcia vs Mattysse got good down the stretch after being cautious the Floyd and smith fights were boring

 

Cano - Theophane fight was pretty decent. Smith - Molina fight was very poor. Garcia - Matthysse was very entertaining. Mayweather - Canelo was great.

 

I was satisfied with the entire card, Cano/Theophane was a good fight.
Ishe Smith & Jay Nady ruined Molina's first title win by using a **** style & Jay took away Carlos's entire inside game to accommodate Smith.

Garcia/Matthysse was what a high caliber championship fight is supposed to be...
Ultra competitive until one fighter begins to pull away. Garcia deserves all the credit in the world he has shut up all his critics (Myself included) & today deserves all praise as the very best south of 147lbs. (Lucas got beat up)

The Main event was also entertaining for me I enjoyed both watching Alvarez trying to match wits with a master boxer like Floyd & seeing the vet mix up his "Running" and stand toe 2 toe with the much bigger man. Canelo made it interesting for the first couple RD's & even showed some rough tactics in there that made me cheer...
But in the end you can't beat a master fencer with a broom stick.

It was not in the cards for Canelo last night, But to be honest I'm not so upset as I thought I'd be... Obviously I was for #Team Canelo & will continue to enjoy watching him perform for years to come but the story of the night quickly became "Sit back & enjoy this performance" Mayweather was brilliant.

Cano vs Theophane was an entertaining opener.

Molina vs Smith was always going to be a dud and horrible style match-up. Whoever decided to put that on this card needed their head testing and spoilt what was otherwise a good night of action.

Matthysse vs Garcia didn't quite live up to the hype especially as people were expecting a brutal knockout but it was still a pretty entertaining fight.

Mayweather vs Canelo was a one sided masterclass which was a thing of beauty but got boring as was almost the same fight as the Guerrero one.

 

Garcia v Matthysse was OK but others nothing special.
