How do people have the audacity to hate and undermine Loma for his "loss" vs Salido... When I rewatched the fight I counted 80 low blows I guess it was even more than that going by this vid

He hasn't fought a pressure fighter since either. Lessoned learned, the matrix has a weakness and its called "pressure fighting ".

80 low blows? As a person who was already skeptical of the low blow excuse this really strains credulity. So literally half of his landed punches are low blows? Why not claim 100% if you are going to be so ridiculous?

I remember a commentator of Canelo vs Cotto saying to his partner "Canelo's landing 75% of his power shots!" To which his partner replied "if that were true, then Cotto would be asleep on the floor right now."

Face facts. Lomachenko was inexperienced and got taken for a ride by an older craftier veteran, who wasn't the pushover everyone thought he'd be.

Loma is the most technically skilled fighter on the planet. These guys keep looking to load up on one shot. Or try and box him punch for punch.

He cannot be outboxed. You have to rough him up. Hes vulnerable to pressure because he doesnt hit hard and hes not physically strong.

He hasnt fought any pressure guys since his Salido loss. A quality pressure fighter is so rare though. Most guys dont want to have to take the punishment required when you use that style. Everybody wants to be a banger or slick boxer.

Manny Pacquiao. But Loma didn't want that Pac smoke.

Pacquiao isn't and was never a pressure fighter. He had an in and out style. He would dart in and throw a combo then retreat away from incoming fire. At this point in his career hes a boxer puncher and has been for years now. He no longer has the workrate and speed needed for the style he used in his prime.

I do think a more experienced Loma would have solidly won in a rematch. But Salido won that fight. He just did. Loma was completely unprepared for pro style pressure fighting for 12 rounds.

Salido won that fight and for some reason Lomas biggest fans just cant get over it.

Yeah, seriously. It's totally cool to take 80 low blows from a professional fighter and then have it held against him for not winning during that disgusting display.

That used to be widely known as "Mexican Style" remember? Loma is a great boxer but like all great "boxers" brawling with them makes them uncomfortable.
    Examples are :
    Leonard vs Duran 1
    Ali vs Frazier 1
    Mayweather vs Castillo 1
    Chavez vs Taylor
    Lomachenko vs Salido

    See the pattern?

So you're saying that without the low blows that Lomachenko would have still lost the fight? Have you ever taken several low blows by a professional boxer while sparring?

The 80 low blows comment was exaggerated for the sake of overemphasizing the point.
