If Wlad tried his clinching tactics against Lewis he would get seriously roughed up, Wlad has never shown any real inside fighting skills. But Lewis could also out jab and outbox Wlad on the outside.

I just can't see how Wlad could beat Lewis. Lewis has more variety, more versatility and is better in every department.

 

What was Mercers trick to coming so close and losing a MD to lewis. What would you say he had over Lewis.

 

As a Klitschko fan and previous Lewis fan, prior to bout with Vitali. I can appreciate Lewis's skill, size . I just can't imagine why you guy's on the other have of the argument can't due the same for the Klitchko's size and skill

How is it enough said? You asked the question what did Ray have to get inside on Lewis? Showing a video of Wlad beating a 41 year old Mercer in a 20-22 foot ring does'nt answer nothing.
Could Wlad do it in a 16 foot ring against a hungry Mercer in a 10 rounder, were Ray is less worried about pacing himself?
I know what your answer will be, but it's alright because i realise it must be hard being in the minority in a pretty baseless argument.

 

Usually the argument is for the ring to be bigger so the Klitschko's opponents can run around and avoid them. Like the Gomez fight.
Maybe he should have been more worried about avoiding those punches rather then pacing himself.
And i know how all your answers will end, with the klitschko's getting no credit

I do give the Klitschkos credit, they are two fine champions, with Vitali the superior. Wlad too many weakness, but that's besides the point. So don't assume i am a Klit hater, when i ain't. I just don't see Wlad standing a chance against any version of Lewis!
My problem is with people like you who are on a crusade to make Wlad something he is not, and then discredit everyone else in the process. Including ATG h/weights.
So again i will ask, do you honestly believe Wlad would have won, never mind stop a hungry Ray Mercer in a tiny 16 foot ring! It would be Wlad who will have nowhere to run friend. Personally i just don't see it.

Against Mercer of course i do. And against Lewis I see it as very even. Where depending on the night it could go either way. My argument was to say that the opinions of the outcome shouldn't be so one sided. With the tools both these guys bring into the ring. You won't see me say Wlad would KO Lewis or 10/10. I say he could win and lewis could win. Others make it like he so out classed
