Why the **** do people rate him? Some clown in another thread was saying he could beat Pacquiao... ...What? The guy always had fast hands and decent power but that's where it ends. Limited boxing ability, poor chin, no adaptability, no heart, no desire. The guy is nothing more than a contender who got lucky. At his very best he was a C+ class fighter and years past his prime, he is even worse. Yet people continue to hype him. Is it the classless **** that pours out if his mouth that has morons believing the hype, just like Toney in 2010? Is it the fact he's brash and from Brooklyn that people haven't realized he is nothing more than a fringe contender? ****ing hell, the number of fighters during his prime that would have wiped their arse with him is unbelievable. He was never a great fighter. Anyone who considers him relevant in 2010 needs to get a grip - Clottey, who is being **** all over, kicked his arse and would go each time if they fought every week for the next 10 years. He's a never was and never will be. Of course, he has FAST HANDS which makes him better than prime-Robinson in some peoples eyes....
no power to beat pac...but could probably make a more interesting fight than someone with the shutters closed
Judah would get his ass kicked. It'd be a worthless fight unless you really hate Judah and want to see him get beat up again.
He is a little bit overated on ESB but I dont believe he as a glass jaw as the original poster implied.
More interesting, yes, because he would last half a round before needing to be scraped off the canvas by his **** of a dad. He really wouldn't last a single round. The guy would need all the kings horses and all the kings men to put together his glass jaw if he took a Pacquiao left.
I don't even hate him that much. I don't like him, no, but it's this constant hyperbole around him which is unbearable. People cannot accept the guy was never anything special. If anything, he over achieved considering he has nothing extraordinary but speed.
No, he wasn't. Ever. He may have looked impressive, beating people as tough as me, but he never showed good fundementals. He was flashy but that's as far as it goes. He was nothing special, just a faster, less talented Buddy McGirt, not Pernell Whitaker with power. So many boxers out of New York are stupidly overhyped. Malignaggi is another - What the **** has he done in his career, apart from talk a load of ****, to warrant so many chances? Struggle with fighters, who were the same class as the ones who gave Judah such a undeserved, fearsome reputation? It's a joke.
He looked great against the elite Tszyu, before one right hand had him doing his best Fred Astaire impression. He almost lasted 2 entire rounds! The fact be gave Mayweathee a tough fight is the biggest feather in his cap, but that says more about Mayweather's weaknesses to me.
