Amazing. I haven't watched enough of the sport this month or last to be making "FOTY so far" proclamations, but this has to be up there. (especially seeing as Jan. & Feb. are generally pretty slow)

Sustained action, good mesh of styles, two MAJOR shifts in momentum, and then a dramatic finish...this was a hell of a watch. Glad I caught it.

Been an amazing start to 2017! Been so many good fights and great performances already...and a fair few upsets!

Cheers. Shame I wasn't able to do Brækhus vs. Svensson but ended up getting to do a pair of serendipitous and surprisingly fun British cards instead.

Definitely the best fight I personally have seen in several months.

Poxton came in with just one prior stoppage victory to his credit in 15 career bouts and had lost four of those, but had arguably faced much stiffer competition than Jones (having lost a close 10 rounder to George Jupp for this same title in his biggest step up).

He got this done on pure heart and self-belief. Many prizefighters would've been done in by the facial damage in the mid-late rounds and not been able to rally as he did, let alone force Jones to break.

So while the best of the UK at the weight - the likes of Ward and Walsh - are probably outside his grasp, how does Poxton fare against, say, Ronnie Clark? Or versus Townsend in a rematch? (KO1s historically can be flukey) ...or with an up and coming talent like Brown Flash Barrett?

Quality fight, but I think it would take a back seat behind Jack vs DeGale and Miura vs Roman.

Edit: Boxing Prospect beat me to it. But Collazo vs Vasquez is a nice addition to the list.
