Bringing up Floyd's history of domestic violence is pretty weak. Sugar Ray Robinson beat his wife and it doesn't take away from his greatness as a fighter does it?

However, Hauser does make some valid points, most notably (to me) when he says that Ali and Robinson aren't remembered for beating an old Archie Moore or Henry Armstrong. Floyd is a great fighter to me and i think there's nobody in his weight range he can't beat, including Pacquiao, Martinez, Williams, or anybody. But he still has to do it. His legacy and all-time status are not 100% complete and fulfilled yet to me.

yeap, most of his arguments are pretty lame, not to say ridiculous, if you take off pink Floyd glasses... but with them on, "he knows a lot about religion" (read - he can find a semi-plausible argument to discredit fighter who is a threat to his favourite).

I agree 100%, Floyd should've fought Cotto before Margarito and Pac beat him down. He should've fought Margariti before Shane whipped that ass. If he had fought these guys when they still had somewhat of an aura of inivicibility his legacy would be better. Otherwise he looks like a cherry picker plain and simple.
