Both guys were a nightmare to deal with but their weakness was their chin. Who do you think would have been the more formidable, threatening fighter had both Hearns and Norris have an iron chin?

Hearns by a country mile and I wouldn't say his chin is as bad as Norris' either. Totally different levels of ability IMO.

Leonard? Hmmm, not so sure it was the chin that gave out but more a stamina issue. Probably both.

If Norris knocked down Hearns he would just punch him whilst on the canvas and lose via DQ.

Hearns would have been as unbeatable as any fighter could be in this case, he wouldn`t have lost to Leonard, Hagler or especially Barkely... he`d comfortably box the **** out of every single one of them & anyone from 160 downwards.

Hearns is one of the best distance boxers in history, partly due to his physique, partly due to his boxing skills.

Give Hearns an Iron chin and he'd have never lost to ANYONE from 147-160

hearns with a iron chin, would have won a decision over leonard first time, finished the round to stop hagler on cuts, and would of ko'd barkley.

hearns with a iron chin would be p4p the greatest boxer ever

I agree, Hearns with an iron chin would have been virtually invincible.

In real life he had a pretty weak chin though, and it was still a great fighter.

Hearns with an iron chin would be the GOAT. He couldn't be outboxed and had top-shelf power. Add a great chin and he would be unbeatable.

Gotta agree that there is a different level between Hearns and Norris, plus an iron chin isn't going to fix the screws loose in Norris' head that made him get DQ'd multiple times.
