Who had the more entertaining career? I'm gonna rewatch there career sets and was wondering who people thought was in the greater fights. From my memory here is the great wars (two way action fights) they were both in. Of course they had other good fights as well (Hearns vs De Witt, Erik Morales vs Jesus Chavez) but these ones really stand out.

Thomas Hearns vs Sugar Ray Leonard 1
Thomas Hearns vs Sugar Ray Leonard 2
    Thomas Hearns vs James Kinchen
    Thomas Hearns vs Marvin Hagler
    Thomas Hearns vs Freddie Delgado
Thomas Hearns vs Iran Barkley 1
Thomas Hearns vs Iran Barkley 2

    Compared too

    Erik Morales vs Daniel Zaragoza
    Erik Morales vs Wayne Mccullough
Erik Morales vs Marco Antonio Barrera 1
Erik Morales vs Marco Antonio Barrera 3
    Erik Morales vs In Jin-Chi
    Erik Morales vs Marcos Maidana
Erik Morales vs Manny Pacquiao 1
Erik Morales vs Manny Pacquiao 2

Hearns and Morales are two of my four favourite fighters. I can't really choose between them, but would probably go with Hearns because of his eye catching style and explosive power.

Also Hearns vs Duran was my introduction to the sport. I'd watched boxing before, but I'd never seen a man move or fight like that. I was about thirteen years old and have been hooked ever since.

Honestly. this is one time it is hard to rate. I will always go with Tommy, but the younger guys will pick Morales who is more recent than Hearns, and the older guys will pick Hearns. Both guys contributed so much that it really is hard to pick or say. These kind of fighters are needed for boxing. Guys who fight them all and leave all they had in the ring.

If you want entertainment you need Morales-Junior Jones on your list, the Chavez fight isn't bad either

Good fights but hardly on the level of what I would calll a great fight. I don't remember the Jones fight being that competitive to be fair, though it woulden't surprise me, Jones has talent.

as DonBoxer says. Hearns looks more, much more special.

More memorable. Part of a 4 kings. Great era of boxing. Morales got wars yeah but Hearns has the edge.

Erik Morales is great, but no match for the Thomas Hearns legacy and fights. Sorry. Thomas Hearns is like that high level of icon and superfights which rare that fighters get there and then put up fights which match the hype. He was either in wars like Leonard Hearns 1 and 2 or Hagler Hearns or outboxed guys like Benitez or Hill or knocked out legends like Cuevas and Duran. Morales is great but not the Hearns level. That man was bad!!!!!
