I've just finished watching his career set and was wondering what people bellieved his top 10 wins were. For example is a win over Pipino Cueves better than over that version of a Roberto Duran.

I'd say that the Duran win was one of the most impressive knockouts ever, but Duran was clearly not at his best, but given Hearn's physical advantages over him,and the fire that was in the Hitmans motivation that night,it may not had made a difference.. But considering where Cuevas was at when Hearns won the WBA welterweigth title, and Hearns booming KO over him, that I think may put them both at the top of his wins. The other great wins I think are Shuler (Steward actually commented that Tommy peaked with him),Hill (Hearns actually outboxed a good boxer when he was far passed his prime and size),Benitez (outboxed one of the greatest defensive fighters ever)Andres (knocked the light heavyweight champion down several times before stopping him) Hutchings (A prime hearns mows through him in 3 rounds,a fight I was actually attending),Roldan (what a war!) And I also think the second Leonord fight ( A highly motivated passed his prime Hearns showed Leonard what motivational revenge can accomplish,a fight he should have won, though it was close.) What order? I'd have to say the Duran fight WAS Hearns for me.:rasta The order is another's guess

He has so many great wins. I think the win which is underrated and maybe his second greatest is the Virgil Hill win. Hill had 10 defenses and was prime and undefeated at 175. But the one which will go down as his greatest is Roberto Duran. He knocked out and outclassed a guy who never had been knocked out before and Duran was a legend and Duran was a champion at 154 at the time -his fans say Duran at the time was great for beating Davey Moore to win that title. Hearns greatest wins to me were
    Roberto Duran
    Pipino Cuevas
    Wilfred Benitez
    Virgil Hill
    James Shuler
    Juan Roldan
    Bruce Curry
    Randy Shields
    Dennis Andries
    Harold Weston
