I am sure this one has been done more than once.

If Norris tries to slug from the outset, he goes out as early as the first couple of rounds.

If He tries to move and box, Hearns tracks him down and stops him late.

If Hearns moves and boxes, he outpoints Norris with his height and reach advantages.

My guess is Hearns by mid rounds stoppage

I have a feeling Norris would try boxing Tommy , perhaps trying to sneak a fast right in so often, to test Hearns Chin .But Tommy would stick out that jab and keep Norris there. This pays off for the hitman ,when he has his man hurt around the 9 th. Tommy would be merciless and Norris would be sprawled out.

I don’t see how Norris wins this, unless Hearns repeatedly sticks his chin out for Terry to use as target practice. More likely Hearns outboxes Norris, at range, then ruins him; mid-to-late.

In a battle of two super dangerous guys with suspect chins its always gunna be interesting but in my opinion Hearns wins by mid round kayo.

Terry has a chance if he gets on due to Hearn's fragility but Tommy has so much height and reach on "Terrible" Terry that it is very easy to envision Norris getting starched.

    Cheers All.

At 154 I'd favor Hearns but I have to say that Hearns remains the most vulnerable "great" fighter I can remember with his questionable chin, rail thin lower body and hot and cold stamina .. he did get better by learning to pace himself and how to clinch when hurt but I could still see Norris taking him out too .

I wonder if Terry's chances would increase if he made it into a rough, inside kind of mauling fight, even though that obviously was not his preferred fighting style.

Norris was supposedly unbelievably strong for his size, I recall the commentators during the Water fight saying he had something like a clean 350 pound bench press. Unbelievably strong for a lean, 154 pound man. You could tell the strength he possessed at times, the way he would manhandle opponents.

I think Norris best chance would be to go for broke and attack with speed. He may get stretched but he has no chance of avoiding Hearns for 12 rounds
