Hearns could beat Calzaghe by decision if he fought a smart fight. The Benn fight is a toss up over who lands a clean punch first and Eubank would probably win a decision.

Hearns too big for Calzaghe? Calzaghe would have to chop a couple of limbs off to make 147. Still think Hearns would take it on points though. I give Hearns the edge over Benn because of his advantages in reach, height and handspeed and Benn's aggressive style. Benn might only need to land hard once though. I pick Hearns by KO but it wouldn't last more than 5 rounds either way. Eubank would be the toughest because of his size, durability and that frustrating style of his. Eubank by late KO when behind on points.
On paper Benn should be his hardest match-up although Hearns could blow him away if he landed right. Eubank might put in a lackluster performance while Calzaghe didn't have the fight-ending punch to bother Hearns. You could argue what way the decisions would go but Hearns isn't without a chance.
No way could Tommy handle the pace against Joe, he'd fade, Joe takes over the 2nd half of the fight as Hearns tires. It's Joe's workrate that drowns tommy here. I agree with Benn & Hearns being a 1/2/3 round pick-em as to who lands the bomb 1st. Chris is going to KO tommy late or takes a close UD.
HEarns would certainly outbox Eubank and Benn, he may knock out Benn early. Both have the power to KO Hearns as he weakens down the stretch, so that's a possibility. I think Hearns has the style to beat Calzaghe, because Joe is so open to right hands and Hearns right is great, he'd land it all night long. Hearns is faster too so can beat Joe to the punch. Calzaghe's output won't be as high when he's getting beat to the punch and hit hard. I see a Hearns UD here I think people underestimate how good Hearns was from 168-175

Joe never fought a guy with Tommy's jab and right hand. I am a guy who defends Joe all the time and says he is great when people say he is not, but I think he is made for Hearns. If Tommy fought smart like he did Virgil Hill, he would actually have a better opening for his right hand with Calzaghe than he did with his right for Hill, which didn't land much.
