man that would be a great fight. turner even with his excellent work ethic and non stop action does not stand up to hearnss power however if it goes more than six i see turner tunring the tide and winning bby decision. great matchup. i dont know if hearns could keep up with turner.
Gil Turner did very well with Gene Fullmer winning one of their bouts and even putting Gene on the canvas. If he could do that well with Fullmer I expect he could give Hearns all he wanted and then some.Hearns wasn't ever the durable fighter that Gene Fullmer was although he was the better boxer of the two.
