Thomas Hearns vs. Antonio Margirito

Margarito is made for Hearns. Someone who constantly walks forward and is easy to hit, against one of the hardest punchers in history. Would be a one sided beating similar to the Mosley fight but would probably end sooner.

 

This would be an absolute slaughter.

Margarito would not match up well with the great puncher like Hearns. He would absorb 100 percent of the punch and that would not work out well for him. Hearns would probably stop him in 2 or 3.

 

I could easily see it going this way too, he's never been in there with anyone who hits as hard as Hearns.

I would be interested in seeing Margarito move up in weight and fight bigger guys.

 

How do you think he'd do at Middleweight/SuperMiddle?

 

Not well...He relies a lot on his strength and size advantage at 147..I dont think he should be going north of 154 to tell you the truth.

A bloke like Pavlik would murder him.

Hearns by 5th rd KO - Hearns being 4 rds up at the time.... just a different level of fighter entirely.

If you thought Mosely put an ass whuppin on Margo.......

 

I was just wondering what mag thought, I can't see him being successful successful above 154 either.
