He saw Barkley do well and he thought he could duplicate that, but Czyz didn't punch between exchanges like Barkley and he was not as tall as Barkley.. Stylewise not close. Andries beat Czyz rather easily I thought. Bobby was good.. He had ok skills. average defense and decent power.

I think Hearns outclasses Czyz who was good, but not at Hearns level. The best guys who beat Czyz were Hill and Andries, Hearns beat both of them without much trouble. Hearns was fast and had a great jab and Bobby did not have great defense. I would say 8th round knockout. The fight would end with a TKO with Bobby probably in his corner not wanting to continue. I liked Czyz, I thought he was entertaining and a good fighter.

Charles Williams was a level above Andries, in my opinion. The boxing mags. rated him higher too.

True.

He had options outside of boxing. That's kind of bad ass that he could have probably gone to college and med school but chose to turn pro instead.

I have read that he is now some sort of commodities trader, or something similar.

He was a very good color commentator in my opinion, as well.

Williams was a busy fighter, and he overwhelmed guys, which surprised me because he was not built to take a good punch. He was good. A great fight would have been Barkley vs. Williams. I forgot about Williams. He was good. Andries was underrated in someways. not a great, but a decent fighter. If I had to rank them I would rank them Hill, Williams, Andries.

Hearns in 87 hadn't fought Barkley yet so Hearns would still be very dangerous
and full of confidence. Hearns comes out all guns blazing and Cyz survives but
the early punishment takes its toll and Cyz stopped in 10 rds.
