    Can McGirt make things interesting, or are Hearns size and power too much here?

    Aside from SRL, nobody at 147 was gonna beat Hearns down there between 1980 and 1981.... The Hearns that KO'd "Cuevas, Baez and had Leonard" going for 12 rds in Vegas, was lethal at 147....

    McGirt would be one of Tommy's easiest fights. It would go 3 round at the most.

    I'm not comfortable picking anyone over Hearns at 147 with the exception of Robinson or Leonard (over 15 rounds). He was that freakish, that powerful and that great.

    mcgirt doesnt have the reach hieght or real wack that i would say you would aquire to beat hearns.

    same reason why i think pernell loses to him in that epic whitaker-hearns thread a few years back
