yea Steele has all the tools he's as fine a boxer as hearns, tough as teak and can punch well enough, records don't tell the whole story, and percentages are bull****. 30 stoppages in 40 fights, yeah great, but woul;d the same fighter make the same percentages over 150 fights? Losses too he'd pick up a good few. anyhow Steele had all the tools no doubt and he fought in perhaps the toughest period of all, I'd say the better money is own Steele, but I do believe Tommy Hearns could pick up a win just the same! Hearns was fit for any era, but in that time he'd be 'among' the many and not as much a stand out as he was in his own time!
