Ruiz certainly would maul Hagler and Barkley to death. Ruiz beats everyone Hearns ever beat, Hearns doesn't beat Holyfield. Hearns was very good at LHW against boxers, he outpointed Hill, quite a feat. But he could be roughed up even at MW by a limited fighter like Barkley and Ruiz is like Barkley only 40 pounds heavier.

Ruiz by UD, taking Heanrs best puinches and roughing him up continously inside - watch Hearns stamina fade away as the rounds go on.

I think Jones is a bigger puncher than Hearns H2H, not p4p though.

Hearns could come into the fight at 147 and still win by KO.

David Haye couldn't even KO a shot Ruiz....wtf makes you think Hearns at ****en Heavyweight even has a remote chance of ****en doing that......Ruiz knocks Hearns out. The only person who KO'ed him was Tua who is a huge puncher. He got knocked down 2 times by Golota but still won.

Ruiz even dropped Holyfield, Hearns chin doesn't make the distance.

Hearns by decision. Ruiz sucks and Hearns is an all time great.

Hearns wasn't really roughed up against Barkley, he was murdering Barkley before the hail mary.

Hearns is a great fighter with all kinds of talent, power, heart, and speed. Having said that, this is still a heavyweight belt holder who has been competitive with almost everyone. James Toney's success leads me to believe he does have a weakness against speed, but Hearns is just too chinny to reliably bet on here.

Roy was not chinny before his sudden shocking decline, while Hearns was always a little bit susceptible to being caught with one shot. I guess Roy's current state would make one believe Hearns had a chance, but he was never as good at not getting hit cleanly as Roy was before he dropped off the talent cliff.

Does hearns hit as hard as David Haye? No

Was John Ruiz shot to pieces when haye fought him? Yes

The Hitman is without doubt the greatest fighter of the two but he isnt a miracle worker..Its a simple issue of size / power
