Hard punchers with shaky chins. The definition of a don't blink fight. I think Hearns would win most of the time, but Jackson could land first and get the KO.

I feel it would be like the Cuevas fight, except a light heavy version, in both his light middle fights (while he was at his peak) Hearns set his punches up with the jab much better than Jackson and could create openings much better.

This is how Tommy probably would of caught Jackson.

Exactly - Hearns by KO nine times out of ten. But that one time...

It'd be one of those fights where it could end at any moment.

    I
I think Jackson takes Hearns shots better than the other way round, but Hearns skills should see him through majority of the time. Only takes one punch to paralyse Hearns though from Jackson, can he avoid it for 12. I'm not as confident as the rest on here, I think there is a case for Jackson here with that power

Hearns outboxes then stops a very brave Julian in about 6.

Hearns height, reach, and boxing skill would be the deciding factor in this fight . Hearns had that super quick and punishing jab, that would keep Jackson at bay. Sooner rather than later Hearns would launch that right hand, Jackson didn't have the greatest chin, so I see Hearns stopping Jackson in no more than 5 rds. But if Jackson landed on Hearns, it could end just as quickly, but for him. But Hearns's overall advantages would be the difference in the fight.

very nerveracking fight. Julian hits anyone he knocks them out. so the chin someone has is not really a factor. I think the only guy he could hit and not knockout is Marvin Hagler. I see Hearns using his jab and hitting Julian easily and he hits too hard not to get him in trouble and if Tommy can avoid the big punch by Julian and not get sloppy. he can stop him on TKO in about 5 rounds. If he concentrates and knows the danger in Julian's punches. Sometimes I thought the ease which guys hit Julian made the susceptible to counter. As though he lulled them into false confidence and then dropped a perfectly timed leveraged punch. Because even if he wqs not known as a huge puncher, the punches he landed were landed with such timing.

The punch that knocked Schuler out would knock Jackson out cold and he`ll land a lot off Jackson`s defense a loot like the McClellan fight, Hearns jab will keep Jackson on the outside Graham was boxing Jackson`s ears off and Hearns was able to avoid being hit by a great counter puncher like Benitez so he should have no problem keeping Jackson off unless Julian comes out like he did v McCallum but if he couldn`t take Mike`s punches then he won`t be able to take Hearns his chin was any better than Duran`s.

If Tommy’s rockin’ the Jheri Curl when that one time occurs, I hope fans in the front row remember to wear eye protection to shield them from the spray of activator.

Yes, there`s brilliant pic of Tyson hitting Tony Tucker and the spray from the activator was like something from a B-movie comedy or something!

19 out 20 times Tommy flattens Jako early I'd say in two or three rnds .Jackson apart from his power was a very average fighter not.hard to hit or a very solid chin ! Unless he lands a sucker punch he gets totally hammered

In agreement . I can't get Barkley ko.ing Tommy and Jackson smashing Graham out of my head when I think of this. It's a very possible scenario where Tommy s out boxing him for a number of round s then BANG ..Jackson gets him. I'm a Hearn s fan but this is a likely ending .
