Thomas Hearns vs. Julian Jackson at 154.

Hearns was far smarter and quicker at light middle vs Duran and Benitez though, if he used the tactics he used v Benitez I can`t see Jackson catching him,he`d have to rush Tommy but in the Graham fight he stood off and waited for a mistake which was what Wilfredo was trying to do and it just didn`t work, I don`t think Tommy was the same after the Duran fight as he moved up he got caught a lot more.

 

To be honest Fergy, I don't think Hearn's makes it the more I think about it. I think also Jackson's a little better skill wise than given credit for although the superior skills go to Hearns blatantly

 

Hearns by KO sooner rather than later.

 

I would not want to bet on this one. Hearns obviously is favored with a reach advantage and powerful right hand, and rightfully so. But then again, if JJ closes the distance and lands a bomb on Hearns' china chin...

 

Jackson vs a guy who hits almost as hard as he does and outdoes him in every other department? Where can I place my bet?

 

I don't see Emanuel Stewart ever putting Hearns in the ring with Jackson, though he's a better fighter Julian would go for a KO and he could get it. They'd avoid him like Mugabi who I think would have blitzed Hearns.
