Would go with hearns with as much certainty as you can when you put 2 of the hardest punchers ever in together that both have less than stellar chins

Jackson's chin is just as fragile as Tommy's, and he's nowhere near the boxer or composite puncher.

If Jackson didn't ice him with one punch early, Hearns would knock him out.

Hearn's is more or less a more schooled version of McClellan, on top of actually utilizing his reach/height advantages. On top of being able to combination punch as well.

The only thing Hearns and McClellan had in common was the same trainer for periods in their career.

If Tommy Hearns was Mount Everest; McClellan would be that Mole hill in your garden....

Hearns was an icon of the last 30 years; McClellan was fun for a couple of years.

Hearns threw that terrific left hook that sizzled. I don't see the Jackson defense coping with the speed and accuracy of that Hearns hook that set the table for him. Jackson's footwork and lack of mobility would have him standing in ffront of Hearns at all times and Jackson would get caught clean early and go. Brutal ko2 by Hearns in a mismatch.
