I like Marvin here. He has the better light heavyweight pedigree and his pressure attack would work well on Tommy, who could still punch at 175 but was fragile. Tommy would have to box him to win but I don’t think he’d have the stamina to hold Pops off. He crashes before Johnson runs out of steam himself. Johnson by mid-to-late rounds KO.
Johnson KO's Hearns an ultra aggressive hard punching Light Heavyweight would be a nightmare for Hearns. It would be a repeat of Barkey vs Hearns 2 with Johnson bullying Hearns along the ropes but only this time Hearns doesn't go the distance. Johnson by KO 8-10 rounds.
Johnson had the perfect style to beat Hearns being a naturally bigger man, pressure, wearing you down and relentlessness, Hearn’s couldn’t say no to a tear up, so if someone came at him, he couldn’t just counter them and tie them up, he want to prove a point, which wouldn’t work for him here.
