Thomas Hearns vs Terence Crawford

Interesting matchup!

Hearns. He is a much better boxer, has the jab, legendary right hand, devastating hook to the body. He does basically everything better than Crawford (whom I rank very highly top 3 P4P and will whup Spence when they meet).

Gotta put in the big performances to be great, Tommy Hearns has already done so. Crawford will be in serious contention for P4P #1 when he beats Spence and will also become more of a consideration when matched up with the ATGs.

 

Crawford 60-40. Great matchup. I favor Crawford because I think he can get inside the jab.

Hearns would bust up Spence tho

Definitely, Spence the much easier fight for Hearns.
As for Crawford getting inside of Hearns' jab, I just can't see it even if he switches up.

Crawford is a hell of a fighter, he seems old school to me, tough and dangerous.

Crawford's best wins are Viktor Postol, Shawn Porter.

Hearns's best wins are Roberto Duran, Wilfred Benitez, Virgil Hill, and should've been 1-1 with Leonard after getting robbed.

But before that happens, it would probably be competitive

 

Crawford reminds me of Hearns. But Hearns is much bigger. There's no way Crawford wins.
