Hearns had a better skillset. There wasn't a single thing in a boxing ring that cherry picking Norris did better than Tommy Hearns. And although Tommy wasn't blessed in the chin department, he's Jake Lamotta in the chin department compared to Norris. Non-competitive fight. Hearns has a legit chance of ending it in 1.
Norris was looking good for about a rd and a half against Jackson, before the lights got turned out , and he got ko'ed . Against Hearns he wouldn't even get that far. Hearns height,reach and piston like jab would keep Norris at the perfect range,and that right hand would follow that jab, and it's good night Mr.Norris, possibly 1st rd blow out.
I like Tommy in this one. Norris had fast hands and threw excellent combinations but Tommy's jab is going to take a lot of that away. Tommy will land that right hand at somepoint and Terry is going down.
