check out oosthuizen vs chilemba, its an interesting fight since they both have potentail imo.

 

I like this kid. Tons of potential. He controlled the Johnson fight, although I thought he let Johnson dictate by putting his head on Oosthuizen's chest for much of the fight. I would have like to have seen him turn off the ropes and get back to distance more where he was in total control. Still, it's a good performance. Fun fighter to watch and clearly skilled. Give him some time to develop.

 

Good fight and nice win last night for Oosthuizen, Johnson came to fight and I thought Oosthuizen still won 7 or 8 rounds. That was the first good look I got at Oosthuizen and he looked strong.

He seems to have good conditioning and a good chin. He was composed even when Johnson was having success. I'm unsure how much pop is in his punches at the moment but his overall skillset seemed good and his size is a huge plus but I doubt he hangs around 168 much longer.

I do think he got hit too much and his footwork wasn't the best but he's only 24 and had less than 20 fights, give him another year or so and 4-5 more fights against progressively better competition and he could be a big factor in 18 months(probably at 175).
