Hearns has got to be the favorite, but if Curry lands a left hook like he did on McCrory Tommy would go.....

    They were both weight bullies

Hearns was far more skilled than McCrory.

Hearns was far better than Curry at 154 and Curry wouldn`t have knocked out Roldan or Andries nor could he have out-boxed Hill at 175, that was not weight bullying.

Curry, as technically sound as he is, doesn't stand a chance. Hearns was a tier above Curry and would have dispatched him within 5 rounds.

Curry moved back in straight lines far too often. You do that vs Hearns and you're going to sleep.

Hearns didn't cut weight to make 147

Honestly, I dont see Donald having as much success as Ray Leonard. He would fare better than Randy Shields & Cuevas, certainly not brutalized like Duran but he wouldnt be able to get past his jab

It might resemble the Benitez fight

Ok, but at 147, I’d consider Hearns a weight bully. You can’t deny he was a huge welter

Hearns weighed 145 in a same day weigh-in against Leonard. He was hardly a “weight bully”, whatever that is. In my opinion, if you can make the weight then you should be able to fight in that division without any stigma.

Leonard had limited success too but managed to hurt Hearns turning the tide his way.

Spence is a weight bully with less skill than Hearns and wouldn`t have been able to beat the fighters Hearns did above 147.

Yes, I noticed that he seems to have problems with quicker, more versatile and gifted boxers who come in a with an intelligent fight plan, fighters such as Terry Norris. They really throw Leonard off his game plan. When he fights slower opponents, he seems to be more confident and fares better.

Both fighters used there longer jabs to keep shorter armed fighters on the outside at 147 but Tommy went on to beat bigger guys too proving he wasn`t just a weight bully.
