Klitschko may not KD Thompson, though I still see Thompson taking a severe enough beating to get the fight stopped.

I think that wlad is starting very carefully, only bringing his left hand in the first three rounds, also smashing Thompsons right hand down (look at my post). In round 3-5 Wlad will start using his right hand. And i think he will finish Thompson then, because his (Thompsons) defense might me not so good. In my opinion Thompson is not able to take the right hands as Lamon Brewster for exsample.

Cant see it though. I hope Klitschko gets the Povetkin fight out the way before the end of the year. That way it leaves the path clear for a fight with David Haye with the winner fighting Peter before the end of 2009.

Thompson doesn't have a good punch. You don't have to hit as hard as Sanders to trouble Wlad but Thompson is a weak puncher.

Hey don't worry I have no affiliation with Klitschko, especially after that borefest he served up last time. If he loses he loses.

I actually enjoy watching Wlad fight. He is stylistically beautiful...that jab and straight right are among the best EVER in the sport.

Its just at times he is SOOOOOOOOO overrated on here, I kinda feel myself rooting AGAINST him sometimes. And honestly, I normally hate this outlook on fighters...I always feel, hate the fans not the fighter (and I actually DO LIKE Wlad)...but when you have posts calling him the best ever...when you have a poll pitting him against the likes of Ali, Lewis, Holmes, Bowe, Holyfield, Frazier, etc...and the polls are ACTUALLY CLOSE!!!! I dont know, I kinda lose it.

How many heavyweight unification fights ended with a KO?

Klitschko has always had the most unreasonable of fans. It's not really worth trying to have a rational discussion with them. Just take solice in the fact it's highly likely we'll see him knocked out again before his career is through.

    His wasn't a unification fight anyway, so don't worry.:good

Shut the **** up. There is no question Wlad was not aggressive enough, but he wasn't running. Iggy ran and/or got down in that awkward crouch for the whole fight. Don't just make stuff up.

I totally understand what you are saying, but many fighters have fit this bill until they fight Wlad. There is just isn't anything comparable to get prepared for what he will eat.

He was forced into that crouch position because he was being held on the end of the jab & any attempt to get inside would have resulted in him being hit with Wlad's big right. If the ref had called Klitschko up on that illegal move he kept performing we would have had a different fight.
