A few of the lads from work have been talking about this fight all week so it's definitely sparked my interest. Don't know anything about either man but I'm hearing that Eddie Hall is a racist? If that's the case I hope Thor batters him. It's free to watch so I'll be tuning in.

Thor looks the better from a technical perspective and has seriously applied himself . Eddie looks extremely poor but is he sandbagging us ? Of course anything can happen and one or both might have china chins and fold quickly. I will be interested in result.

I'm from Newcastle 2 lads I spar who are decent boxers went up and sparred Thor a few weeks ago. Said he's a bit stiff but his power is unbelievable and that he's really fit too.

Has anyone seen the video where Eddie Hall is punching his mate in a body protector and he starts coughing up blood? Blatantly fake (as if you can do that to someone) and sums up what he is all about. He's clearly just interesting in looking the part and surrounds himself with people who blow smoke up his arse and stroke his ego. Which would explain why he clearly hasn't even learnt to most basic fundamentals in all this time he's been training.

Yeah, best one is when he moved around with Hughie Fury a few years ago. Hughie tapped him a couple of times and he was winching.

Who has trained Eddie for this fight? As far as I can see he's just been training in his house with local boxercise trainer.

Doesn’t necessarily mean anything but I’m sure Hall was one of the best swimmers in the country at one point, probably when he weighed 200 pounds less mind you!

Eddie Hall just talks like that absolute clown who thinks he's funny and tough as old boots all at the same time

Fancy Thor to pin his gloves to the side of his head, bide his time and chin the geezer

They said at the press conference that coverage will start at 8:30pm UK time. They didn’t clarify whether that’s coverage of the Thor-Hall fight or some sort of undercard though.

Hall at the press conference said to Billy Nelson that he knows more people in boxing than he does. Was a weird comment, guy genuinely think he would batter pro boxers. The “pros” he has been sparring are bottom of the barrel. I know he has been sparring Matt Gordon who was a 2-6-1 heavyweight with no amateur experience and who started boxing at 26. It’s a big reach when he brags about getting the better of “pro” boxers because he’s referring to this calibre of fighter.

mate growing up was a gb swimmer and would come second to Eddie hall every year. He was 6’5” at 14 so I guess he’s used to bigger guys…maybe some kind of bitterness… Takes a different kind of animal. Still back Thor though.

Thor can actually box a bit which has come about because he has been dedicated to training and genuinely enjoys the sport.

Hall looks huge and clearly isn’t in boxing shape. I am surprised he is so big given he has been retired for ages now and should be off the gear.

Thor is going to win a decision or stop Hall on his feet.

The body transformation between the two is crazy.

Thor, for a giant, looks like he's been doing everything boxing training asks. Eddie looks like he's been bulking.

i take it you haven't seen photos of Hall when he was actually competing in strongman. He weighed over 400lbs, so although he's still bloody massive, he has lost an amazing amount of weight.
