Nah Cleve needs to capture this title proper ie fight this Polish fella and defend it against the # 1 ranked fighter by the WBO to earn the title LEGIT , I reckon the window has closed on the Bellew fight option now , it could happen futher down the road but Bellew needs to start shooting up the rankings in order to get this fight on instead of shooting the breeze .

Bellew probably killed himself trying to make the weight he thought he could do it but sadly faild, but because of what he did warren has no choice but to make the fight as soon as! Without it we probably wouldn't of seen clev vs bomber for some time! So it probably will turn out to be a good move by bellew.

people should leave off tony he's not the villian in this peice that has to go to braehmer, its obvious tony bellew did everything he can to make weight (and make a fight people were actually interested in) with 48hours notice people should be taking their hats off to him not slagging him off

personally i'm glad he didnt make the weight as at such short notice dont believe it would be doing him any favours and think its a fight that can be made in the future and built up properly not playing second fiddle to groves vs degale (thats another bone of contention whoever the opponent why is a british/commenwealth title fight taking precidence over a world title fight, i'll tell you why cuz warren and or sky care more about the casual fan then the hardcore boxing fans)

cleverly beats this bum, bellew smashes ovil (then maybe one more fight say t euro level) and cleverly vs bellew for world title is on big build up battle of britain etc etc

I never realised how fickle ESB can be.

When Tony Bellew came on here to say he wanted the fight he openly said he had about 6lbs to lose. Now, rather than factoring a margin of error and not getting their hopes up, people simply assumed the fight would definately get made, and the weight wouldn't be a problem. Not to mention the OTT arsel licking threads.

When it turned out he couldn't shift the weight he's gone from hero to villain in one fell swoop. People are blaming Tony for getting there hopes up. WTF? If we only found out after Saturday night that Tony Bellew had offered to fight but couldn't make the weight, nobody would have kicked up a fuss.

People are looking to blame somebody else for their own stupidity.

 

why all the bull tony knew before the press conference and still put on his little soap opera he's just Frank's littlle puppet.

Not Bellews fault you could see he was draned at the press conference so he was trying really hard, he also flipped against cleverley, that was more down to starvation why he was so touchy.

 

Did Bellew know how much overweight he was before he said yes? If so then he has to take alot of blame.
