Chavez Jr failed a post fight drug test in the past, and now he walks out of the mandatory urine test.

Puto Jr is a tainted fighter who makes Bute look like a legitimate champion. And no, I'm not talking about roids or PEDs necessarily, but diuretics.

Chavez Jr is a blatant cheat... and I see guys on here cheering for this one win against Rubio, why do you do it when he's an obvious cheat?

Oh **** yes. I remember that.

Yeah, it's proper shady for him to skip the drug test considering how he was struggling to make weight again.

    So he's a weight cheat. :D

Lasix is not a steroid and only causes increased urination. Likely given to him because his kidneys were not functioning properly due to severe dehydration. After rehydrating him the Dr gave it to him to jumpstart his kidneys.
A little safer than dialysis a week before a fight, and a logical first treatment for a person with no history of kidney failure.

Of course the Dr was treating him as a patient first and a fighter second. But as Drs of professional athletes it's fair to say he might have looked at the list before giving the medication.

As for Jr's refusal to do a post fight screen?:huh Havent seen a shred of evidence that one was ordered. Should it have been......of course.....standard practice I thought.:think

But as to the idea that he would take a diuretic AFTER the prefight screen is ABSURD. Why would he further drain himself after he had made weight and PASSED the prefight screen.:huh:rofl

Others, including Rubio, have suggested that Chavez Jr. might of been on some PED's. I know Rubio sounds like a sore looser and all but this claim can't be so quickley dismissed due to Jr. not going through a post fight test.

What is more likely, is that he was on some diuretic to help him cut some last minute weight. Then was pumped and rehydrated to a huge weight advantage, where exrta pounds wound give him that extra edge when using a style of imposing his weight on Rubio.

He couldn't of been taking his training that serious if he got busted and charged with a DUI in LA weeks out before the fight. I hate to make accusations without proof, but dodging the doping test is very suspect.

i think what chavez does before fights coming in over 180 is Plain Bull**** BUT i dont get how using diuretics is illegal you just end up pissing a hell of allot more. before a weigh in it could make a difference,

    Was there a prefight screening?

Just asking because Rubio said in an interview that he felt that something was up because not even he went through a prefight screening. He also added that fighters go through a pre weight-in weeks out before the fight ( that at times involve screenings ) and that wasn't done for this fight either. :think
