    You're absolutely correct!

What Pac and Roach were allowed to get away with in Texas was criminal.
There was actual very high ridges on top of every Pacquiao knuckle in his wraps. The Texas commision let that slide despite the protests of Robert Garcia.
There's nothing that can be done now, but no one can convince me that those high ridges on Pacquiao's knuckled did'nt lead to him getting his orbital face bone fractured.

When you have high ridges like that in a handwrap. The force of a punch concentrates itself at the high point of a ridge, and the force of the impact then concentrates itself on a smaller area of the point of impact (in this case, Margarito's orbital bone).

Instead of the force of the punch being concentrated in the whole fist area and spread to Margarito's whole face.
The ridges on those wraps act like a sharp object and concentrate themselves in a smaller area of the face.
There is more force being applied to a smaller area of the face which caused the fracture.

Punch a cardboard box with your fist and its likely not going to tear open.
Apply ridges to your fist and the force being concentrated to those ridges is more likely to cause a box to split than without the ridges.

Fortunately for us, Chavez wont be able to make 160 for too much longer.

I wonder what would a Chavez Pavlik fight look like @ 168?

just another bull**** from you against pacquiao.

...the ridges you are bullshitting about are placed in between the knuckles which sinks down when more tape was applied over it.

...what you should be questioning is why was margarito taking a diet pill before a fight??

I like Chavez Sr, he's one of my idols.. but I can't just turn my back on this type of stuff. Injustice to one man is an injustice to ALL. I think Rubio got ****ed. :-(

Why? I love boxing... why isn't it for me? Because I voice my opinion when I see bull****?

So we should all just shrug and let it go unheard? You're a hypocritical man, freddy... a very hypocritical man. You were on here defending Margarito after the hand wrap scandal, and I bet my ass you were one of the mexicans shouting "puto puto" as Cotto was beaten into submission on the night of their first fight.

    HYPOCRITE.

Sunday morning I gave junior credit for his victory
After reading all the BS about the drug test,I take back my statement .
The whole sickness of Sulaiman and his WBC is as rotten and corrupted as boxing has never been before.

Where is he getting all of these weight problems? I mean is he heading to the HW division? Did he not start at WW? Camacho, Jr has the same problem. He was a number one contender at 140 and ends up fighting at SMW? If Chavez, Jr trained like his father use to, he would be fighting at 154.

Boxing isn't for him because he doesn't like performance enhancement using jokes? How the hell does that make sense? The fact that he struggled to make weight and has a history of diuretics is suspicious to say the least. The national bias on this site is unreal.

    True dat.

You know, most days Sulaiman just hangs out in his tower, shaking his wand & doing the bidding of his Lord Sauron of Mordor.

    - But when he's feeling REALLY evil, he messes about with boxing.

Its not Chavez's job to enforce rules, the sanctioning body, and the commission should of reminded him

Also, while many fighters get to enjoy having 50 plus amateur fights to hone their skills, Chavez Jr had no amateur career. He has looked pretty good recently too. Give the kid a chance.
