Oh most definitely. But to be fair a 29 year old Toney is an absolute monster and my favorite boxer ever. If they boxed Toney destroys him. If McGregor chose to box in an MMA setting Toney eats his lunch. But Conor clinches and takes him down. Toney wasn't a top tier puncher and McGregor has a chin on him when fresh. Conor would drag him to the ground and batter him before tapping him.

 

Based on what exactly? It's been a great year of fights.

 

Asking the real questions here. I believe he does come back to MMA or fights paulie. It's just rare that top fighters retire this young, but I couldn't blame him. Either way I'll be watching.

 

He hasn't made 1-2 million in a few fights. He made close to $8 million in his last UFC fight. He made $15 Million against Diaz in the 2nd fight. After tonight, he'll be make at least $10-15 million per fight.

 

He would never fight Paulie. You think McGregor will give Paulie a chance to make money after Paulie acted like a ***** and said he was a spy for Mayweather? Nobody cares about Paulie anymore.

 

I can't disagree with that. Connor is there to be hit though and some monster punchers would **** him up even in the octagon. Like if somebody held a gun to my head right now and said to me, GGG vs Connor in a cage at 160lbs I would pick GGG by KO. Maybe that's just being biased, but Connor is not that good defensively, and I think he's got glass hidden in that beard which is ready to shatter.

Like if Connor can knock out Aldo with one punch, I'm not going to bet against a GGG or a Hagler doing it in their primes vs MMA's best.

 

He will most likely do what ever makes the most money, it's what he always done.

 

Of course they could they are the elite of elite strikers. It can happen and has happened before but it is far from the most likely outcome against a well rounded mixed martial artist.

 

I think his ufc salaries might be lies. I think he's made a lot less than they've made out. Just like the ppv numbers i believe are fabricated a bit.

 

Floyd barely landed anything on McGregor when he had energy. He's there to be hit when starts to gas. We knew that from his UFC fights.

But seriously, Toney wouldn't last long enough to land on McGregor. He would get taken down in under 1 minute and get chocked out.

 

Has McGregor ever taken anyone to the ground and choked them out?
