Those of you who are picking Andy Lee to beat Saunders next month...

I'm American so I don't follow these guys as close but I'm really looking foreword to this one.

Who do the odds makers have favored? I give Lee a slight edge, but I've only seen the fine showing Saunders had Vs Eubank jr. Seen Andy a bunch of course.

 

Korobov has achieved very little as a pro. Quillin was an out-of-shape basket case when he fought Andy. Andy-Korobov and Andy-Quillin were both very poor fights, I'm sorry to say.

 

I rate Andy Lee but I'm picking Billy Joe Saunders. It's an interesting fight.

 

Im going with BJS.

Lee has fallen in love with his power to much and gives up his reach and good jab to readily these days to fight inside. If Lee faught like he used to under Manny Steward and resorted to letting his hands go on the inside when his opponent gets close then he would stand a better chance of beating BJS, but i don't expect that to happen.

What people forget is that Lee is actually quite a skillful boxer. This has been forgotten due to the nature of his last few wins but I actually see him outboxing Billy before knocking him out in rd 8/9.

 

I expect him to stop BJ'S (6/7 rounds) maybe coming from behind again, and gets brutalized inside 3 rounds by GGG.
