Those who called FMJ/Guerrero a cherrypick should call Pac/Rios one too....right?

Is there a pity rule for a fighter coming off a bad loss? I mean if there is one for coming off a bad ko loss rule... bc as you know Pac loves fighting guys coming off brutal losses.

Fine but then you'd have to excuse Floyd for choosing JMM as a tune up fight. You can't have it both ways. Either it's a tuneup/comeback fight or a cherry pick and you can't give one guy a pass when they both chose to fight a guy who's ranked lower and coming up from a weight class below them.

Btw, Roy Jones and Lennox Lewis didn't need a "comeback" fight after getting knocked out. Just saying.

Guerrero wasn't a cherry pick and neither is Rios. In fact Rios is going to knock Manny the **** out. Manny coming back from a year layoff and will be fighting the same ****ing style with nothing new added to his game. Rios would be smart to move around the ring a little for the first round and let Manny follow in straight lines and tag his ass and put him to sleep. Manny won't be the same and this fight will prove it bc Rios is not at that level yet he will win. Manny should have taking that 40 million and then bought out his contract with Arum. Dude could go on a world tour fighting guys raking in 10s of millions.

Rios was clearly hand picked by team Pacquiao as they feel it's his best shot at a highlight reel KO. I don't have a problem with it though. I think it will be an entertaining bout, and it gives both guys a chance to get their careers back on track. I don't know why everything has to be a ***** fest on here. Lets just enjoy what will be an entertaining bout.

One of the biggest question marks about Pac in this return bout will be his punch resistance.

If nothing else, Rios should be able to provide a proper gauge in that department.

  12. No. That's some dumb logic. Pacman is also coming off a devastating loss. And Rios is more of a threat to pacman, than Guerrero is for Mayweather

You could be right, that doesn't mean that Rios wasn't hand picked. Martinez hand picked Murray and almost lost. Pac hand picked Marquez thinking Marquez wasn't the same guy at WW and almost lost. In my personal opinion, I think Rios is going to get smoked. We'll have to see though. It could get interesting.
