Please explain how Paquiao will knock out Cotto. I mean Cotto has been hit by Margarito who not only hits harder but is busy as hell. I know Pac is quick, but i just dont see how he can do anything to Cotto. I see a k.o. the other way. Not to take anything from pac, loosing to Cotto wont take from his greatness in my opinion. He is an amazing

Prob a TKO. I can see Cotto's lips swelling up so bad, he won't be able to see a thing.

The difference is that Margo's punches are slow as hell and you can see them coming. If Pac is quick and varied enough that he gets hit with a shot he doesn't see coming, all bets are off.

Also, Cotto's had bad cuts in 2 of his last 3 fights. Can't discount the possibility that the fight gets stopped on cuts.

I do think a Pac KO is unlikely as well.

I think a flat out KO is extremely unlikely, but I'd say there's a big chance that Cotto will get TKO'd on cuts. Have you seen that scar tissue over his left eye? It's just begging to get torn open.

Its the punch you dont see coming that can get you, and it doesnt have to be particularly hard. Speed has alot to do with why you didnt see it. Also repeated punches can have a cumulative effect. Diaz had never been KO'd and post fight said Pac didnt particularly hit hard, was just so fast and punches kept coming at him from every angle. Thats how. Of course you can do it also with a power shot, which Cotto definitely is capable of.

It's not logical but Pacquiao is an uprising of nature.

Did anyone expect Pac to violently knock out Hatton (the supposedly bigger/stronger man) with one punch?

Ya but no one also expected ODH to be TKO'd and/or Hatton to be KO'd (by one punch). Just like the previous poster stated, Hatton was suppose to be the stonger, bigger guy. All he said and his camp said in every episode of 24/7 was: "He has not faced a bigger, stronger opponent like me, Im a true jr welter, I have never lost at jr welter, ODH was weight drained and a shell of himself" (not said exactly like this, but same points made all by the Hatton camp over and over). Then what the hell happens? Hatton is KO'd cold! Now hearing the same **** from Cotto and his camp: "Im bigger and more powerful, Im a true welter". Maybe this time that formula works, but I wouldnt walk into this fight using that as my only strategy. By the statements being made by Cotto camp, its sounds like thats all they got. Bad idea against a game planner like Roach and an executioner like Pacman. Why is it going to be different this time compared to ODH or Hatton? Fine, say ODH was a shell of himself, but Hatton had never lost at 140-was he coincidentaly always a bum after losing to Pacman or Floyd? Is Cotto going to be officially classified as "shot" from Margo after possibly losing to Pac? Im going with trends, and Im not bucking the trend of Pacman continuing to win and win spectacularly, via KO or TKO.
