I'm not so sure he's gonna do it. Think he's got a good chance (probs better than anyone else with his speed n power) but I wouldnt bet on it if ya know what I mean. And I dont think Wlad is a bad guy - he has good character and is a good role model unlike Haye's contrasting arrogance and sometimes smack talking. But he (Wlad) is a bit safety first and sometimes rightfully accused of being a boring champion. This fight could end with either guy getting a quick KO exit...but looking at how Haye handled Mormeck and Barrett its sometimes hard to see him steamrolling through Wlad, but then you could look at some of Hayes other fights were he did go via the quick route..it could happen with his punch, it could just as easily happen the other way around.

I wish Haye would calm down the arrogant smack talking - he may be making a rod for his own back with that approach and if he does lose he's gonna look a total fool. And how would he talk his way out of that if he does get blown away...his credibility would be totally shot.

    No, no, no, no, no.

    Just no.

The people who are impressed with his attitude are not the kind who appreciate substance over style. So he can win or lose, it doesn't matter - as long as he acts like a tool his fans will be fawning over him. They are purely style over substance people. Heard of the Emperor's New Clothes? The imagination and wishful thinking... so very powerful... so often useless...

Pretty much everyone knows he only has a long shot at winning. The fact has not dissuaded his fans. Because his fans don't care about the boxing (i.e. the substance) they care about the wannabe-gangsta attitude and their own associated unresolved homo-erotic issues (i.e. the style)

I would like to see a fighter like Haye at the top of the Heavyweight division. A fighter who is a normal size and in shape, not boring as hell to watch.

Haye's big mouth though makes it impossible for me to root for him.

i just wanta see a new champion. I like wlad but his style in 2008 was just ****ing brutal. I hope we just get an action pack HW title fight. IF wlad wins,, i want to see him tested and people say nice fight wlad,, not what another boring fight. boring champ etc.. but i can see wlad working his jab and haye landing the big right hand that shuts wlad down. People forget that haye is a dangerous fighter and has a decend chance in winning. Hes fast and is powerful and he has more than a punchers chance u know.

Go Haye Go.. we need a change
