Joshua and Wilder story are very similar. Both started boxing at their late teens. Both a very athletic with questionable chins, however Joshua have shown better improvement and fighting mentality since the Olympics than Wilder has. Based on what I've seen so far at this point in their respective career, I think Joshua has a higher ceiling than Wilder and will KO him if both were to fight tomorrow. Please feel free to give your two cents.
Clearly... Another few fights and he will be ready to knock both stiverne and wilder out with ease and make the look like journeymen. He still needs to watch himself though and stay dedicated to the art. As a big man he has much to learn
You mean that tall, chicken. Legged and necked fella who got dropped heavily by two line cooks Dustin " WORM " Nichols, and Harold Scoiners? Dropped heavily and buzzed badly in sparring by David Haye and Wlad Klitschko? Got buzzed heavily by featherfisted Molina and Firtha? Or the guy who was KTFO by a LHW in the ams? Yes ....Joshua has this fight lmao
Wilder looks so tall and rangy but looks like a stick compared to Jousha Josuha just looks so much more complete then Wilder
Let's see. In the last two hours I've been called a Racist Black Panther, an Englishman, and now a South Asian. Oh lord what a day.
ANY live body will KO Wilder. The truth is Wilder's super-fragile glass chin will almost certainly be exposed long before Joshua ever gets him in the ring.
I agree I think Joshua would be too strong for Wilder. I'm also from the United States but Joshua is currently my favorite Heavyweight (been watching his whole career along with Wilder). This would be a great fight for the Heavyweight division in general if it happens.
I think people are over hyping Johsua way too soon, based upon his humble achievements. But even I think he would beat Wilder right now. Wilder's only advantage is he is a little faster and fought at a higher level, well at least for 1 fight, when he won the title. Joshua is bigger, stronger, hits as hard, if not harder, has a better chin based of what I have seen of Joshua as an amateur where his chin was tested a few times at least and has better technique. Wilder fights tall like Joshua, which favours both their styles, but I think Joshua is more accurate and has a better selection of shots and when closer, Joshua has an even bigger advantage as he shortens his shots and knows how to throw an uppercut on the inside. Wilder is too sloppy, he was hurt by a journeymen in Molina, Joshua would KO Molina quickly. Wilder looked good against a slow, plodding Stiverne, AJ would be a totally different proposition.
